Yes, and I'm pretty fast on it.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

I like an email.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, but I was the editor for the school yearbook.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Think long and hard about why you're going into this field. It's a tough one and the pay ain't great, but it can be rewarding in other ways.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

They're all good if I can turn them into a story.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On an airplane, or wishing I was.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

It used to be Coastal Living, but now it's Conde Nast.
