I have actually tried one out but never used it to write anything. It’s definitely different.
How is social media changing news?
Lots of different opinions and fake news out there that people believe in which aren’t true.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Having your own opinions and/or writing techniques for certain stories or news.
What's your favorite social network?
Easily Twitter. It's easy to use and a very good way to get your work out there and connect with millions of people worldwide.
Why did you become a journalist?
It's always been a passion of mine to talk sports with friends and family and I wanted to take that a step further and talk to the world
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Definitely the Iowa Hawkeye’s new tradition, called the ‘wave.’
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Always take any opportunity that comes your way. Even if that’s wriring for multiple sites at a time. Get your name out there.
