Devin Tuttle’s Biography

Devin Tuttle is the co-owner and founder of Tutts, a Draper, Utah-based company that provides aeration, fertilization, and pest control services. He and his dad started the company to offer the Salt Lake community transparent processes, quality products, and reliable pest control services.

Tuttle and his dad opened Tutts five years ago, building the business from the ground up and earning a reputation for trust within the community. His experience in marketing and customer service, combined with his practical work in operations and leadership, has contributed to the business’s growth. Through this journey, he has learned the value of consistency, vision, and steady effort.

Tutts provides lawn aeration to improve lawn health by addressing conditions that prevent grass from growing properly, offering different service options to fit client budgets and needs. Pest control is another major service he provides, utilizing advanced technology and high-quality products to effectively handle pests such as rodents, termites, flies, ants, cockroaches, and spiders that can damage property and compromise health. The company also offers fertilizer and weed plans to help restore and improve the appearance of clients’ lawns.

Clients have shared positive feedback about his commitment to service. One mentioned receiving honest and sharp service, stating they would use Tutts again. Another shared that their lawn significantly improved after his aeration services, describing him as consistent and knowledgeable. Another client shared that after just a few treatments, their yard saw a significant improvement, with thicker grass growth and a reduction in ring fungus.

Before joining Tutts, Devin worked as a Customer Service Representative, earning recognition as a top salesperson in Utah for achieving high sales and client retention rates, while also training others and fostering strong client relationships. During high school, he worked at Tucanos Brazilian Grill and Swig. At the age of 15, he completed his first lawn aeration job, demonstrating his early interest in entrepreneurship.

Tuttle grew up in Draper with a close-knit family and considers his three sisters his best friends. He has a two-year-old son. He attended Alta High School, where he participated in football and track, and earned an Associate’s Degree in Communication from Utah Valley University, where he placed second in a public speaking competition.

He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, baptized at eight and ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood at twelve, later serving as a deacon, teacher, and priest. Faith and patriotism are vital to him.

Devin became an Eagle Scout, completing a project to build artificial eagle nests to protect wildlife and reduce wildfire risks. He joined a humanitarian project in Guatemala to help make schools, homes, and farms while delivering aid. He regularly donates to the Church, supports tithing and fast offerings, and has helped lead two spiritual youth camps in Utah. His mission leadership experience includes serving as Senior Training Leader, District Leader, and Zone Leader.

Tuttle served a two-year mission for the Church in Philadelphia, paying his way and focusing on studying scripture, companionship study, planning, and teaching others about Jesus Christ. During this time, he had seven to eight companions across various areas, dedicating each day to service and teaching. He also volunteered at a food bank in St. George for three months.

Devin Tuttle enjoys digital art and animation, has competed in national spikeball tournaments, and regularly plays disc golf and pickleball. He enjoys writing stories in comic and fantasy genres, creating characters and narratives that reflect his creativity and curiosity. He values volunteering, gift-giving, and organizing family and youth activities, bringing focus and dedication to every area of his life. Devin continues to bring this commitment to his business, family, and community.
