Working in the tech sector, Dharapak has collaborated across product, operations and marketing teams to tell stories and reach audiences at scale.
He served as Deputy Director for Production and Presentation and Regional Photo Editor for The Associated Press, guiding a team of over 60 journalists in over 25 Asia-Pacific countries, including China, India, and North Korea.
Dharapak was named Senior Journalist by the AP during his posting in Washington, DC, where he covered The White House, national politics, and three presidential election campaigns.
As an AP staff photographer and editor based in Asia, Dharapak covered breaking news and feature stories in Indonesia, East Timor, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
