It's making it instant and much harder for the 'powers that be' to add their spin to it when you have members of the public on Youtube.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Probably Stephen King. Although I'll take most comics over a book every time.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means knowing what's happening, predicting what might happen and relating back to what has happened.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
I loved the Susan Boyle one still.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I don't have a preference.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Blogger, Adobe suite, Office suite, Axure, Visio, Projekt,

Twitter - I love it. Tumblr is a very close second.

Why did you become a journalist?
I love to write and I care about what I write about.

If you have something to say then keep at it, even if nobody is listening at first.
