Autopsy - AFL 2024 Round 18 - Swans v North Sat July 13th 1:45pm AEST (SCG)
This game is pretty great timing imo and I must say, I think we matchup better than most with the Swans. Jordan to Sheezel Rowbottom to LDU Phillips will tag Gulden. Wardlaw vs Warner Xerri vs Grundy Comben on Amartey Blakey and McKercher rebounding out of opposite D50’s. All pretty intriguing propositions Two of the best pressure sides in the AFL the last 5 weeks, it should be a belter imo and pretty hot in the kitchen.
Opinion - AFL 2024 Round 17 - Weekend Wrap & Liked, Learnt, Hated
Wowsers, great weekend with some huge turnarounds in games. Plenty to talk about, so let’s go wrapping… Pies v Bombers, Friday night: Pretty dominant win from the Bombers, despite the final score only being a couple of goals. Totally outplayed the Magpies from the second quarter onwards. Going to be tough for the reigning premiers just to make the finals now, letalone go back to back. They should probably count themselves fortunate just to have won last year to be fair.

Opinion - North Melbourne Priority Picks Part 2 - 2023/2024
Simple question - should they get one? Since 2012 the AFL have some 'discretionary formula' for handing out PPs consisting of wins in previous seasons, on-field prospects, list age, astrology charts and a rough measure of just how much Darcy "likes the way the list goes about it". They might snag a win or two from here but they are a firmly developing side who would have certainly qualified for some form of assistance under the old formula.
Opinion - AFL 2024 Round 6 - Liked, Learnt, Hated... NOW WITH ADDED WRAPPING!
We’re going to do something a little different this week folks - Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Main Board Weekend Wrap! Don’t forget to post your Liked, Learnt, Hated as usual… along with any other musings or quibbles you might have about round 6. Now let's get started… Saints v Dogs, Thursday night: This was meant to start at 7:30pm. Nobody told the Saints that. Once they realised they’d missed the entire opening quarter, they decided maybe it was better to just not turn up at all.
Game Day - AFL 2024 Round 6 - North v Hawks Sun April 21st 4:00pm AEST (Marvel)
Our brutal start to the season has demoralised our playing group, I fear. Our opponents in the first 5 weeks have a combined win/loss record of . And 3 of those 6 losses are Brisbane, last year's grand finalist who have started the season slowly. Sigh. • Paul Curtis up front. Can also clunk them (The Don’t Argue on Parfitt was special). • Biggy’s debut. Was not overawed and had every right to be. Sure he missed a few kicks, but no more than other more experienced players (Simpkin/Corr/Scott).
Game Day - AFL 2024 Round 5 - Cats v North Sun April 14th 1:00pm (GMHBA)
#12 I believe Dangerfield's set to be back in this week and he'll be important. I don't want LDU, McKercher, Powell and Wardlaw racking up Liberatore/Bontempelli numbers against us. The opposition midfield are often racking up big numbers but it matters little in the end. We have players flying under the radar. Everyone playing their role perfectly. There's no reliance on any indivdual to do it alone. I think Stengle, Miers and Cameron run amok and slot 12 between them in this one.
