Abstract Introduction: Health and social care professionals are at a higher risk of suicide. This study explores the mediating role of perceived private support (from family and friends), workplace support (from colleagues, supervisors and superiors), perceived availability of workplace resources and perceived job recognition in the relationship between burnout and suicidality among these professionals.
