Covering a fetish night in Leeds, in a basement. I am not joking.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! It was frustrating, but fun! Like life. Ha!

How is social media changing news?

I think it's making it more accessible, but it is challenging us to think harder about what sources we trust, and why.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

I love telling stories, and supporting people wherever possible.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

E-mail, and a nice, friendly, well-researched e-mail as to why your artist is right for Soundsphere.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Word, iMovie, Audacity

Why did you become a journalist?

To tell stories, and improve my confidence!

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Loads of music, and album reviews, and it was for PLUTO, the University of Central Lancashire Student newspaper!

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I think getting to work with bands, and artists that I grew up loving like Incubus, Placebo, Judas Priest and Joey Jordison (Slipknot)...

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Diversify - cover a range of topics, wherever possible!

When's the best time to pitch you?

1pm - 6pm

What's your favorite drink?

Jam on Toast Tea (by Yorkshire Tea). It changed my life.

Making tea!
