I've been an ardent sports enthusiast and fanatic for most of my life. Hence, I decided to pursue a career in Sports Journalism immediately after completing engineering in 2018. I earned a Diploma in Journalism from ACJ and joined the reputed Sportstar magazine and website as a Reporter in 2019. I have also occasionally written copies for its sister company - The Hindu newspaper.
Over the years, I interviewed sporting superstars like West Indies legend Dwayne Bravo (cricket), two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu (badminton), F1 great Mark Webber (motorsport), former UFC champ Jan Blachowicz (MMA), Sevilla FC's director Monchi (football) etc. After a highly productive stint at my first workplace, I moved to Sportskeeda, the leading sports website in India, in 2021.
I'm always keen to gain multi-sport knowledge, and I've worked in various capacities such as Writer, Show Host, Podcaster, Editor, Analyst, Video Creator and Social Media Handler thus far.
I then left SK MMA in mid-2022 to join TING as a Senior Copywriter. Over there, I belong to the teams handling the social media accounts of IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad, ISL club Chennaiyin FC, South Asia's only ATP 250 tournament Tata Open Maharashtra etc.
