What was your first job as a journalist?
I'm not a journalist, more of a lawyer and think-tanker.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, through college, but I still have a stock of white-outs.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I draw from a wide range of sources, but try to write from the perspective of refugees, immigrants and their communities.
Who do you wish followed you?
A broad cross-section of the public, policymakers, persons of faith, immigrants and refugees.
