Why did you become a journalist?
I love writing and telling peoples stories in a way that they are not capable

No, but I did write for my college newspaper (The Brand - Hardin-Simmons University)— I was a copy writer and photographer.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A story about why fugitives are fearful to turn themselves into authorities.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Remove limits you set on yourself and tell every story you can get your hands on.

The best pitch I’ve received was from the PR for Landman when inviting our station to cover the red carpet.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
When someone demanded I cover a story because another outlet covered it.

Coffee in the morning. Yum.

Sideline covering a sports game.
