Donovan Myrie’s Biography

I am a three-time Emmy Award winner who has also received accolades from the Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists (Salute to Excellence), National Association of Broadcasters (Service to America), the New York Festivals International TV Programmers (Bronze Award), and the Black Filmmakers Association (Documentary Award). I have completed my Ph.D. at Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, Ohio and I also hold additional degrees from Columbia University and Ithaca College. Currently I am an Investigative Reporter at WKMG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Orlando, Florida. I have specialties in 9/11 studies, automotive industry, aviation, data visualization, digital media programming, nuclear power, and the space industry.
