Dr. Ticho has over 25 years of expertise providing surgical surgery to patients with strabismus, cataracts, glaucoma, ptosis, dermatochalasis, and tear duct blockages. His nonsurgical expertise includes refractive errors, amblyopia, ocular infections, diabetic retinopathy, and retinopathy of prematurity, as well as treatment of refractive errors, amblyopia, ocular infections, diabetic retinopathy, and retinopathy of prematurity. He's particularly interested in eye treatment for those with genetic abnormalities, Down syndrome, autism, learning disabilities, and other special needs.
Dr. Ticho has written over 100 peer-reviewed medical articles in the fields of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He has given talks at significant ophthalmology conferences, gaining praise for his work and knowledge. His patient outcomes have garnered him roles such as Board of Directors of the Pediatric Eye Disease and Investigator Group and Associate Professor at The University of Illinois.
