Dr. Adarsh Jha is an endocrinologist practising medicine in Hartford County, Connecticut, for over two decades. He runs a successful practice out of East Hartford, conveniently close to Hartford's state capital. Dr. Jha graduated from Darbhanga Medical College and is a generous contributor to charities, nonprofits, and other good causes, such as the Indian Red Cross Society and Hostelling International. Dr. Jha currently works at Shafa Medical Center in East Hartford; it specializes in adult primary care, internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. The primary goal of the medical centre is to provide high-quality healthcare services to all those living in East Hartford or its nearby vicinity - where a second office exists downtown. As an endocrinologist, Dr. Jha's role is to treat any disorders related to the endocrine system - hormones-secreting glands that control much of the body's functioning - including diabetes, metabolic disorders, nutritional issues, pituitary diseases or thyroid problems. Likewise, he also offers assistance with menstrual or sexual problems likely associated with these ailments. Jha focuses mainly on diabetes and metabolic disease management but also has experience handling other related conditions that may arise occasionally. Gengras Primary Care Services' previous medical director was Dr. Jha. He had a base at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and was a part of Gengras Primary Care Services. About a century has passed since Saint Francis Hospital, and Medical Center opened its doors to patients in Connecticut. It is currently one of the country's most well-known Catholic multi-institution healthcare delivery systems. It is New England's most prominent Catholic hospital and a significant teaching facility.
