Arash Rahi’s Biography

An award-winning physician, Arash Rahi, MD, MSc recently earned a Compassionate Doctor Award in Urogynecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery, and a Patient Choice Award in Urogynecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Throughout his educational career, he has also garnered several teaching awards for his achievements as an educator in the fields of medicine and chemistry. As the Chief of Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Minimally Reconstructive Surgery at Westchester Medical Center, Dr. Arash Rahi tends to patients and oversees the training of medical students and residents.

Before becoming a doctor, Dr. Arash Rahi, attended New York University. Studying biochemistry, French, and math, Dr. Rahi acquired a Freshman Chemistry Award, membership in the prestigious Phi Lambda Upsilon honor society, and the opportunity to study abroad at Université Paris. During this period, he supplemented his academic achievements by working as a Networking Services Programmer for the school.

Subsequently, Dr. Arash Rahi, enrolled at New York University School of Medicine. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Rahi joined the University of Pennsylvania for his clinical training in obstetrics and gynecology and received ambulatory gynecological training. Additionally, he supervised junior residents and won numerous teaching awards.
