What was your first job as a journalist?

The Eastern Echo was my student newspaper. But my first freelancing gig was at the Ann Arbor Observer.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

A few times when I was a kid.

Why did you become a journalist?

I took an intro to journalism class on a whim, and then never looked back!

When's the best time to pitch you?

Afternoons.

What's your favorite drink?

Coffee.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Reading, urban exploring, or swimming.
