Drexel Heard II’s Biography

Drexel Heard II has worn many hats throughout his career, but the most important thing to him is that he's always helped others somehow. He started politics early, working as Vice President of Southern California and Los Angeles for Strategies360. He then became the youngest and first African American Executive Director of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party while simultaneously working as an on-air analyst in U.S. politics for BBC Radio and others. Finally, from 2018 to 2019, Heard worked as the Director of Special Events at Michael's Santa Monica after nearly two years as a Special Events Marketing Executive for Macy's. In all of these positions, Drexel has been committed to helping people reach their goals - through electoral success or simply putting on a great event.
