Originally from Odessa, Ukraine, Davíd Lavie is a translator, novelist, playwright, recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities grant and participant in the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop. His essays have been published in Narrative Magazine and The Times of Israel. Translations of poetry & prose, as well as essays, may be read at davidlavie.com.
