Assassin’s Creed Shadows Impressions
Developer – Ubisoft Quebec Publisher – Ubisoft Platform(s) – Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 (reviewed), PC Release Date – March 20, 2025 Review Copy was Provided by Ubisoft It feels like a lot is riding on Assassin’s Creed Shadows for Ubisoft. The game has been delayed multiple times, which isn’t something Ubisoft is known for as much as other developers. Originally set to release in November of 2024, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is releasing in March of 2025.
Sea of Thieves Reaches 40 Million Players
Sea of Thieves is merely over a week away from its release on PlayStation 5, and before that, the game has reached a big milestone. As of today, Sea of Thieves has crossed 40 million players across Xbox and PC. A blog post was released announcing the achievement. Who knows how long it’ll be until we hear that Sea of Thieves has crossed 50 million players, especially considering the impending PlayStation 5 release?
PlayStation PC Overlay Revealed for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut; Supports Trophies, Friends List, & More
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is set to release on PC in a little under a month on May 16th. A new PlayStation blog post has revealed some new info regarding the port’s release. The co-op online multiplayer mode titled Legends will include cross-play support between PC and console. In other noteworthy news, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be the first PlayStation PC release to include a new PlayStation overlay.
Stellar Blade Has Gone Gold
Stellar Blade has gone gold and is officially ready for release on PlayStation 5. The news comes from the developer’s social media. Stellar Blade will be released for PlayStation 5 on April 26, 2024. You can check out our demo impressions here.
Star Wars Outlaws Set To Launch on August 30th
The Star Wars Outlaws game coming from Ubisoft has been unanimously praised the moment that actual gameplay was shown almost a year ago. Ubisoft has been firm in saying that the game will be released in 2024 and as of now it seems that will become a reality. Star Wars Outlaws is officially set for release on August 30, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC. Ubisoft released a synopsis and a new story trailer which you can view below.
Stellar Blade Demo Impressions - Potential GOTY Contender
Stellar Blade is an upcoming third-person action-adventure from the developer, Shift Up and is set to release on April 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5. Shift Up and PlayStation have released a free playable demo of the game a little under a month before launch. And I can say that after my time with the demo, Stellar Blade has jumped up to a must-play for me as soon as possible.
It Takes Two Sells Over 16 Million Copies
It Takes Two is a masterclass from Josef Fares and the team over at Hazelight Studios. The game has been well-received by fans and critics alike since its release in 2021 and even went on to win Game of the Year at The Game Awards that year. That success in critical reception has followed in the sales department too. It has been announced that It Takes Two has sold over 16 Million Copies since its launch, which translates to over 30 million people playing the game since the title is co-op only.
Stellar Blade Demo Set To Release March 29th
Stellar Blade has impressed with its showings so far and looks to be a noteworthy release for PlayStation this year. As of this writing, Stellar Blade is set to release in one month on April 26th, but we won’t have to wait long to play the game until then. It has been announced that a Demo for Stellar Blade will be released before the full game. The Demo will be free to play on PS5 and is set to launch on the PlayStation Store on March 29th at 7am PT/10am ET.
Post-Launch Content For Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Announced
One of my favorite games of 2024 so far is receiving more content! Ubisoft has announced that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will receive several free content updates and one paid update for Story DLC spread out across the year. The first free content update is called Warrior’s Path and will launch on March 20 and will feature a Speedrun Mode, a Permadeath mode, and four new outfits for Sargon. In Spring 2024, the Boss Attack update will be released which features a Boss Rush challenge mode.
Summer Game Fest 2024 Officially Annouced
Summer Game Fest has been a staple event for the past few years ever since the absence of E3 and the demise of the event altogether last year. The event is hosted by Geoff Keighley and features game updates and reveals from developers across the world. Details for 2024’s iteration have been revealed. Summer Game Fest 2024 will be a physical event that will take place live at the YouTube Theater located in Inglewood, California.
Ghost of Tsushima Is Coming To PC
Ghost of Tsushima was released back in 2020 to great success in terms of critical reception as well as commercial reception. The game has sold over 10 million copies since launch and has gone on to win several awards. We all knew a PC port was an inevitability, the real question was when would it arrive, and we finally have our answer. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut arrives on PC on May 16, 2024.
Neon White Review - Fun Personified
Developer – Angel Matrix Publisher – Annapurna Interactive Platform(s) – Nintendo Switch, PC Release Date – June 16, 2022 Disclaimer: Thanks to PR for Providing a Review Copy Coming from someone who doesn’t usually like card games, Neon White is probably the best one I’ve played. Annapurna Interactive is one of my favorite publishers for a specific reason. Almost every game they put out manages to provide me with an experience that is unique or feels more fun and grounded than even some AAA games.
PlayStation State of Play Announced For March 9th
PlayStation has announced a new State of Play Showcase. The showcase will premiere LIVE tomorrow Wednesday, March 9th at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET on YouTube and Twitch. The show will be around 20 minutes with updates on multiple PS5 and PS4 titles. There will be a “special focus” on games coming from Japanese publishers. It’s been noted in the PlayStation Blog that there will be no PlayStation VR2 or hardware updates of any kind. What’re you hoping to see at the State of Play tomorrow?

This game seemingly came out of nowhere even though it’s been announced since 2017. My interest in Biomutant came about due to a couple of the gameplay videos I’ve seen in recent weeks.

In a little under 6 minutes of gameplay, Giant Squid turned my impressions of The Pathless into a game I didn’t know about to a game that I needed to play.
