Dylan Callaghan’s Biography
Dylan Callaghan is an American journalist, feature writer and author who has written hundreds of in-depth features, profiles and trend pieces about the film and television business for The Hollywood Reporter, Written By magazine and WGA.org, among others. In addition to writing complex industry trend pieces, he's interviewed hundreds of the industry's preeminent creators from Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan to legendary writer and filmmaker Paul Schrader.
Far from the transitory shine and glitter of showbiz, Callaghan has spent years on more mission-based work, using his skill as a storyteller to turn peer-reviewed research into captivating, relatable stories that illuminate the sciences at a time when empirical truth and a free press are under siege. He currently works as a contributing editor and writer for the science news site Scholarpeer.com following years of contributions to scienceblog.com and work with other medical and scientific organizations.
Simon and Schuster published the critically-lauded book Script Tease, a collection of the best of his interviews with Hollywood's leading creative minds. He also contributed a chapter essay to the Paul Myers-edited book on power pop, Go All the Way, published by Rare Bird Books.
