LAVOLTA (L) I & II were randomized, double-blind, Phase 3 trials of lebrikizumab (LEB), a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting IL-13, in adults with uncontrolled asthma (LI, NCT01867125, and LII, NCT01868061). These studies enrolled patients irrespective of asthma exacerbation history. Recent studies of biologic medications in severe asthma have shown that exacerbation history and baseline eosinophilia impact outcomes.
