Better Off drop off tour following allegations
Following sexual assault allegations made against fill-in bassist David Hobbs, Better Off have dropped off their current tour with Mayday Parade and the Maine and are “going silent for the foreseeable future.” The allegations were made in a Facebook post from Hobbs’ former Bleed The Pigs bandmate, Kayla “Foxie” Phillips. Better Off offered the following statement on their Facebook: “Today I feel deep sadness and frustration like never before in my life.

The Maine cover the Backstreet Boys, more on new EP
The Maine have released their Covers (Side A) EP, which includes covers of the Backstreet Boys’ “As Long As You Love Me,” New Radicals’ “You Get What You Give” and Len’s “Steal My Sunshine.” The latter two covers feature guest vocals from Brennan Smiley of the Technicolors and Derek Sanders of Mayday Parade respectively. The 1975 postpone upcoming tour
Originally planned for the end of this year, the 1975 have postponed their upcoming South American tour to spring 2017. Dirty Hit Records, one of the 1975's labels, tweeted that the change was “due to scheduling issues.” Read more: Here are five videos of the 1975 before they were the band you know today The band's Twitter and Facebook account stated that the shows were rescheduled—without further explanation.

Against Me! to protest North Carolina by playing show, says Laura Jane Grace
North Carolina has recently enacted the House Bill 2 (HB2)—a hugely controversial, anti-LGBTQ+ law that greatly discriminates against the trans-community. In response, many protestors (e.g. Bruce Springsteen and Ringo Starr) have canceled their events in the State. However, trans-punk rock icon Laura Jane Grace has taken a different approach: her band, Against Me!, will perform their concert on May 15 in North Carolina as a form of protest.

A Day To Remember certified Gold
A Day To Remember have announced that two of their albums, 2009's Homesick and 2010's What Separates Me from You, have been certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). Panic! At The Disco organize blood drive before show for Orlando shooting victims
Panic! At The Disco have joined forces with OneBlood to organize a blood drive before their show in Miami this Tuesday, June 14. Donations will benefit victims of Sunday's tragic shooting in Orlando at LGBT bar Pulse. Panic! aren't the only ones in the scene contributing to the cause. PVRIS released a T-shirt benefiting the Pulse victim fund, and You Blew It! dropped an EP benefiting Center Orlando, a LGBT center that is providing counseling in the wake of the shooting.

The Damned postpone shows due to Captain Sensible’s injury
On the Toronto date of tour, the Damned's Captain Sensible fell off stage and broke a rib. Due to these injuries, three of the band's shows have been postponed. First, the Montreal date was postponed to May 23 and the Boston date was posted to May 24. “Ladies and Gentlemen….How do.” As I’m sure you’re all aware now, last night in Toronto, our fearless Captain took a spill off the front of the stage resulting in a broken rib.

Take a tour through Matt Skiba's Instagram, and you'll find dogs, art, music, glimpses of tour and motorcycles. Recently, the Blink-182 and Alkaline Trio member added a new piece to his motorcycle collection: a red ride named after a fellow prominent member of the scene, (via Green Day Authority). Fall Out Boy look to be up to something. The band posted a mysterious tweet this morning, asking Chicago to "please silence your cell phones at 11 a.m. CST." ‘Fear Factor’ is coming back with a twist, Ludacris will host
How could you forget about Fear Factor, that reality TV show hosted by Joe Rogan where people would do ridiculous stunts for a cash prize? Turns out MTV did not forget. In fact, the network is reviving the series, and Ludacris will host, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The new Fear Factor will put a twist on the unscripted show's original formula. In an attempt to target a younger audience, the stunts will no longer be confined to eating spiders and jumping between trains.

Accomplished music video creator Matt Eastin gives invaluable advice to aspiring directors, editors
Matt Eastin is an accomplished music video editor and director. He’s worked with the likes of Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees and Foster The People. He’s also on the panel of an exciting competition sponsored by Adobe called Make The Cut. For the competition, Eastin and Imagine Dragons are releasing exclusive uncut footage from the music video for the band’s new hit single, “Believer.” This is the first-ever music video editing competition. The best part? One lucky winner gets a sweet prize of $25,000.
Warped Tour will now allow one parent in free with tighter rules
Warped Tour have once again updated their free parent ticket policy. One parent will now get into Warped Tour free with a child under the age of 16, according to a tweet from founder Kevin Lyman. "Please don't abuse the rule or it will end," he adds. The free parent ticket program began in 2015 and continued in 2016. A post on the Warped Tour Facebook last week indicated that the program will be pulled, citing the booking of many legacy acts. Tickets are on sale for Warped Tour now.
