Høytider og påfølgende sosiale tilstelninger kommer og går. Julebord, bursdager, 17. mai-feiringer og sommerfester. Alle snakker livlig og begeistret om storståheien som skal skje neste helg. Du lurer på om du kommer til å bli invitert av én av vennegjengene denne gangen. Det blir du ikke. Kjenner du igjen den stikkende følelsen av å være den som blir ditchet? At enhver sosial anledning er et sjansespill på om du blir skuffet eller ikke? At nok en gang er det du som er til overs, utenfor eller på siden?

The Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) is often at its most interesting when mixing contrasting ideas and functions into its projects – such as its power plant/ski slope for example. In a similar vein comes The Plus, which consists of a cross-shaped furniture factory that boasts impressive sustainable design features and also hosts hiking and camping facilities – even welcoming visitors onto its green roof.
Oslo's leaning tower celebrates the expressionist artist behind The Scream
With its aluminum facade and leaning form, the new Edvard Munch museum cuts a distinctive figure on the Oslo waterfront. The building is hailed by Spanish designer Estudio Herreros as one of the world's largest museums dedicated to a single artist and features thousands of the famous Norwegian expressionist's works, including multiple versions of his masterpiece The Scream.
Norway to restart tourism with a bold, greener vision
As plans to reopen tourism in Europe start to take shape, Visit Norway, with inputs from the Norwegian travel industry, presented a new, ambitious national tourism strategy in Oslo this week. The strategy was commissioned by the Norwegian government in January 2020, and it has now been handed over to the Minister of Trade and Industry, Iselin Nybø.
