What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means a dedication to the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

What's your favorite social network?
Instagram, said the Gen Z-er.
Who do you wish followed you?
I wish author Franz Kafka was on Instagram so we could be mutuals.
Why did you become a journalist?
I have a deep-seated sense of justice, a passion for storytelling, and an unwavering love of creating. Logic led me here.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not. I was however the drum major of the marching band.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of my work for an article about a senior survey being released. It featured the memories of a source's loved one.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Reps, reps, reps! And FACT CHECK EVERYTHING.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
I'm still the one making pitches!
What's your favorite drink?
Passionfruit anything. Smoothie, nectar, you name it.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I'd say The Bergen Record.
