Keywords flow duration curve, hydropower feasibility, FDC College Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology Department Civil and Environmental Engineering Abstract The purpose of this project was to derive Flow Duration Curves (FDCs) by three separate methods in order to compare the accuracy of these methods. The FDCs would be used to estimate the amount of water that would be consistently available for hydropower.
Abstract In transportation study area, safety is a great issue. GIS is appropriate to perform spatial analysis the accident history in define area. In countries with undeveloped waterpower potential, hydropower can be a cost-effective way to generate electricity while also utilizing the country’s renewal natural resources. The purpose of this paper is to present the design, development and testing of the Tethys HydroProspector web application developed to evaluate hydropower feasibility at a site from calculated Flow Duration Curves (FDCs) at specific sites.
