What was your first job as a journalist?
My school paper in 7th grade!
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Once in my grandfather's basement.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Rory Gilmore. It's horribly cliché, but Gilmore Girls will always have a special place in my heart.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep persevering, even when you feel as if you hit a dead end. Find more sources and collaborate with your editor(s) to find solutions.
What's your favorite drink?
Water with ice.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Sitting anxiously on a couch, watching my favorite hockey team.
