Monitoring G20 Countries’ SDG Implementation Policies and Budgets Reported in Their Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs)

1. Introduction The objective of this study is to analyze the G20 countries’ SDG implementation policies and budgets which were reported in their Voluntary National Reviews, asking four main questions. First, how substantial are the policies? Second, what is their distribution among SDGs? Third, to what extent did the policies start before or after the SDGs were adopted? Fourth, what are the similarities and differences in these policy trends between the developed and developing G20 countries?

Phase Behavior of Hydrocarbon-like Primary Organic Aerosol and Secondary Organic Aerosol Proxies Based on Their Elemental Oxygen-to-Carbon Ratio

Synopsis The number and type of phases in atmospheric organic particles consisting of internal mixtures of primary organic aerosol (POA) materials and secondary aerosol (SOA) materials is important to predict their effect on air quality and human health, as well as climate. Investigating the POA + SOA particles, we found that the number of phases depends on the oxygen-to-carbon ratio (O/C), with two-phase and single-phase POA + SOA particles formed for POA with low and high O/C’s, respectively.
