Five Files, No Record of Which Came First
Five Files, No Record of Which Came First You started a project on Monday. By Thursday you have five files: a research document, a spreadsheet of data, a draft slide deck, a sketch of the app interface, and a chat log where you decided to pivot the pricing model. Nobody else on the team knows which file was made first, which decision overrides the previous, or why the pricing changed. The project is alive, but its history is dead.
The AI writes the answer
The AI writes the answer. You still have to put it where it belongs. You open a chat, type what you need, and get a well-written paragraph. Then you open a document, paste the paragraph, adjust the formatting, rewrite a sentence that doesn't quite fit, save a version, and close both windows. The AI did the hard part—generating the content—but the work of moving that content into the place it needs to live is still on you.
How I Stopped Burning Out as a Developer
For a long time, I thought burnout was something that happened to other people. People who didn't love coding as much as I did. People who weren't committed enough to push through. Then I became one of those people. Not in a dramatic way. There was no breakdown, no quitting on the spot. It was slower and quieter than that — a gradual draining of the thing that used to make me excited to open my editor. Code that used to feel like play started to feel like lifting weights I never got to put down.
Weâll be starting the first of our series on published RPG campaigns with Warhammer Fantasy Roleplayâs The Enemy Within; oft described as the âbest campaign ever writtenâ. A bold claim, but does it stand up? And fair warning; if youâre a player of this campaign, prospective or current; Go away, or may your rolls forever be fumbles. While I donât intend to go into high detail on plot elements I also wonât be avoiding them.
Mothership: Sci-Fi Horror
As we say goodbye to the light of summer and Halloween lurks just around the corner, here’s our tabletop RPG recommendation for a one shot horror game this year. Mothershp is a setting neutral d100 based sci-fi horror roleplaying game; as a setting neutral game, it isn’t attached to any specific horror franchise, though takes some of its major notes from franchises such as Alien, and Dead Space.
Delta Green: Lovecraftian Horror & Conspiracy
What brings a party of characters together and what keeps them together? It can often be glossed over for the sake of expediency, but when you sit down and consider a group of two to six strangers saving the world together, or whatever the theme or genre of a game might be.
Call of Cthulhu Starter Set: Horror Begins
Call of Cthulhu is a well-established, prominent RPG that, in some parts of the world, has left the titan that is Dungeons & Dragons staggering in the dust. But how best do you convince people to try out a new system when theyâre happy with what theyâre playing?

Trail Of Cthulhu: Investigative Cosmic Horror
In our growing list of games to mention for the spooky season, Trail of Cthulhu is one of my preferred genres, cosmic horror. Trail of Cthulhu was designed by (amongst others) Kenneth Hite and Robin Laws, and uses the GUMSHOE system, which was developed by Laws in 2007.
Thousand Year Old Vampire: Lonely, Personal Horror
As a way of marking the always auspicious occasions of All Hallow’s Eve, I thought I’d once again talk about a horror adjacent roleplaying game that does a great job accomplishing what it sets out to do as a recommendation for Halloween, but in a change of pace to the regular, this is nominally a solo roleplaying game.

Famous Campaigns: Masks of Nyarlathotep
Continuing our series on some of the most well known published RPG campaigns, we move on to Call of Cthulhuās Masks of Nyarlathotep (MoN), another venerable published campaign. First published in 1984 as a five book boxed set, it has seen frequent reprints and updates as Call of Cthulhu moved through its editions over the years, largely unchanged but for the addition of a chapter added to the version published for 5th edition Call of Cthulhu in 1996.

Alien: The Roleplaying Game
Movie tie-ins of any game product can be a dubious prospect, usually little more than cash grabs trying to ride the popularity of something before its time in the sun passes or trying to garner approval just by name association alone. Thankfully Alien: The Roleplaying Game is not one of those products.
Rising Synthetic Opioids Abuse Causes Deaths | Mighty News Online
The rising use of synthetic opioids has been an increasing cause of concern for medical practitioners in recent years. These synthetic drugs, called nitazenes, have a greater potency than both fentanyl and heroin, themselves prolific killers in the USA. Initially developed during the 1950s as pain killing medication, the potency and addictive potential has prevented them from application in general use.
