‘Taking a big negative, and turning it into a positive’: How UNMASKED is using photography to explore men’s mental health
September is a month dedicated to raising awareness of suicide prevention, encouraging people to talk openly about mental health and seek support when they need it. Despite its signage, the centre hasn’t held the title “City” in over twenty years, long ago demoted to Salford Shopping Centre. The outdated lettering remains, its faded red paint telling a story of neglect and abandoned ambitions.
