My first job was to work as a Rajshahi University (RU) Correspondent of the Bangladesh Today, a national English daily

I have never used a typewriter and I wish not to use it
How is social media changing news?
Social media is playing a big part in engaging news and simultaneously some people in social media distort news or portray right news
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I am not a big admirer of fiction journalism and so I do not have a favourite fictional journalist
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, a journalist is the truth seeker and teller of truth as to news or any information

I cannot remember what I have seen as the funniest news-related

Preferably by email between 8:00am to 11:00am
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I do not use any special tools except laptop and plagiarism checker software

LinkedIn is my favourite social network but I also like Twitter

Any human being striving for the cause of law, human rights and justice
Why did you become a journalist?
To seek and tell the truth regarding any news in the post-truth era
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, I did not have any scope to work for high school newspaper as in Bangladesh there is no such opportunity
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am proud of writing story on Rohingya Refugee, Lawyers Dress Code, Rampal Power Plant, History on ADR
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
As a freelance contributor I do not think myself as the right person to advise aspiring journalists
When's the best time to pitch you?
As an early bird I prefer morning from 8:00am to 10:00am but I will not mind to any pitch before 10:00pm any day.

I am yet to get the best pitch

No pitch is worse to me rather I value every opportunity

Any drink with lemon flavour
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I am sitting before my book-self searching my notes for reading or reading a book

Issues relating to law and human rights along with justice on any publication preferably available on the webpages
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
Most people treat law as a tool of oppression for common people by elites while human rights is a propaganda varying in the East and the West
