Emma Walker’s Biography
Hi there! I'm a freelance writer and editor with more than a decade of outdoor industry experience. I grew up on the Colorado Front Range, where I earned my undergraduate degree in English literature at CU-Boulder. Then I headed north to Anchorage, Alaska, where I earned an MS in outdoor and environmental education. I've lived and worked around the American West and am a newly minted guidebook author (Best Dog Hikes Colorado, forthcoming June 2019). These days, I make my home in Boise, Idaho, where I write and edit for a variety of outdoor adventure-adjacent publications.
