Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes! It can be helpful to get away from the distractions and the second guessing to just get something down that serves as a start.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
OneNote to keep everything organized, oTranscribe and automated transcription services, and Google Scholar
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Writing about weight stigma in health care. It was eye-opening to dig in on a topic that is clouded with stigma and misconception.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I oversee our web content, which posts weekly, so I take pitches on a rolling basis.
What's your favorite drink?
I love a Sazarac, and I kind of like that they aren't very common. It makes it a nice treat when I see one on a menu.
