Winco magic, Harper Lee's return & Website revamps

Winco magic, Harper Lee's return & Website revamps

poetionpics.com — Winco magic, Harper Lee's retrograde return & website revamps-it's been a busy week, but I'm finally posting Isn't it great when a company such as employee-owned Winco finally pieces together the magic of superb ethos by dishing out ownership to their employees, a privilege that previous generations of company leadership quite greedily denied their ground troops? For those who haven't heard, having recently come to light on KTVB.com is the inspiring story of millionaire Winco employees-cashiers, warehouse stockers, and the like-set to relax on a comfy retirement budget. The way it works is the supermarket, instead of going public, created equity portfolios for every employee.

The Dark Facebook Knight Rises, Charlie Sheen & Super Bowl shenanagins

poetionpics.com — 2014 is being touted as the year of Facebook, but the same can't be said for GoDaddy's latest Super Bowl ad. Should it REALLY be the year of Facebook? I mean, Facebook's been winning Charlie Sheen style since back before Charlie Sheen made winning a thing. The social media site is only 11 years old, but it's been rocking the Casbah pretty much since day one. Facebook recently made news for going all mobile, I should say, placing their company's focus primarily on smartphones (another colossal breed of trend that would make Charlie Sheen proud.)

#blizzardof2015 and Uber misconduct

poetionpics.com — Our hearts @ poetionpics.com go out to those of New England trapped in the Storm of The Century 2015 Edition, aka #blizzardof2015. Rumor has it flights will be cancelled and schools will be closed, power outages are likely, and I shudder for the ensuing unpleasant attempts at staying warm. I read an article in USA Today here that mentioned a ride service company named Uber that gouged prices so badly during a January 2014 storm they forced consumers to invoke government intervention. It culminated in Uber vowing to cap prices, and for what it's worth, I believe they will.

Measles Outbreak From Disneyland & Why I Haven't Seen Big Hero 6

Measles Outbreak From Disneyland & Why I Haven't Seen Big Hero 6

poetionpics.com — Recently a report came out on the local news here in Boise, Idaho about an outbreak of measles in the northern part of the state, Moscow to be exact, on the University of Idaho campus to be more exact, whose roots trace all the way to Disneyland, California. I call it Disneyland, California because, frankly, I think it's catchy. Why I care about measles and Disneyland, but not Big Hero 6 I'm a little worried that some form of the virus could be close. As in close to my body. I spend much of my time on the Boise State campus where two cases have been confirmed.

SEO Setup & Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies

SEO Setup & Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies

poetionpics.com — Hello everyone! I'm biding my preciously negligible time as Paypal finishes verifying my brand spanking new business account. This has birthed within me a deep desire to research SEO Setup and Operations to the fullest. You know that moment when you'll have to stand in the token "long irritating moving-at-a-snail's-pace line" that comes with purchasing something popular at any given toy/electronics store upon release, only to discover that you're FIRST IN LINE? No? Neither do I, but let's pretend that such is the way SEO will work after I've finished mastering the art of electronically standing in a search engine checkout line, albeit it's really more like a jailhouse "line up" (isn't that what they're called?)
