'It's Hard Not To Feel Guilty Surviving This': Millet Ben Haim Shares Story From Nova Festival
What was once a campground now looks like a makeshift graveyard. The field is filled with rows of plots of upturned dirt, posters on stakes bear the faces of people who were murdered here. Standing amongst them, in a white T-shirt with her name printed across the back, Millet Ben Haim has returned to the scene where her nightmare began. We’re close to Kibbutz Re'im, in southern Israel – the site of the Nova Music Festival where 364 people were massacred by Hamas terrorists who infiltrated Israel.

This news comes not long after Lovato released her song ‘Sober’, in which she revealed relapsing after six years of sobriety. From the lyrics of the song and the release, we believed she had already gotten help and was in recovery, but it looks like it was the admission and she had yet to seek assistance.
SDCC Panel For ‘The Gifted’ Reveals Trailer For Season 2
Fox’s 'The Gifted' was well received for its short first season, gaining a renewal with ease, and now we have the trailer for season 2 which premieres on September 25th. The first season ended with a broken group after all the challenges they faced, looking like the X-Men of the past with two sides. We all wanted more before the credits even rolled on that season finale.
DC Drops The ‘Aquaman’ Trailer At SDCC
We were introduced to Aquaman in DCs 'Justice League', but on December 21st we’ll get his story through his solo film. The film’s first trailer was released at SDCC featuring Jason Momoa’s Aquaman aka Arthur Curry. Joining Momoa for Aquaman are Nicole Kidman (Queen Atlanna), Patrick Wilson (Ocean Master), Amber Heard (Mera), and Kaan Guldur (a young Arthur). The trailer features sharks, action, and some one liners which he became known and loved for in Justice League.
Johnny Depp Arrives At SDCC In Costume And ‘Fantastic Beasts’ News
Johnny Depp can't be stopped by a Rolling Stone article as he shows up as Grindelwald for SDCC's Fantastic Beasts 2 panel. The magical cast and crew, were of course, a part of comic con, gifting us a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald before its November release to theaters. Depp’s appearance was a complete surprise, a very welcome one, as he was not set to be a part of the panel.
BREAKING: Check Out The Trailer For DCs 'Shazam'
Warner Brothers has brought us some dark things for their DC Universe, but things look a little different when we watch the trailer for Shazam. We’re in store for another comic book superhero movie in 2019 with this release, but we welcome it with open arms. The movie stars Zachary Levi (Chuck) as Billy Batson, a foster home runaway who gets super powers. The film was directed by David Sanberg who we know from Annabelle: Creation, but he's going for comedy instead of horror for this go round.
SDCC News About 'Brooklyn 99' And 'Lucifer'
Two of the big names at this year's SDCC are the saved victims from Fox, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Lucifer. SDCC brought us news for both! Let’s start with Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the show’s cast dropped into SDCC after being saved from cancelation by NBC. They hosted a panel where we got some details about what comes next for the Andy Samberg led comedy. One of the biggest topics during the panel was the character Rosa Diaz coming out as bisexual.

Fanfiction Highlights: Read This ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Story
Last week we shared a Lucifer fanfic, and this week we are back with our next recommendation. This one comes from anon1126 at fanfiction.net. The fandom is Star Trek: Discovery, based in season 1 around the Lorca twist. Chapter one is below with the rest of the story available with a single click here.
DC Drops 'Titans' Trailer
We have more news from SDCC to share! DC’s new show Titans dropped its first trailer and it is nothing like the cartoon Teen Titans Go. This preview was dark and even had a pretty risque line from Robin (Brenton Thwaites), but we’ll get into more of that in a moment. Check out the trailer below before we get to commentary and news. Titans’ Executive Producer Geoff Johns has created, possibly the darkest, DC we’ll see on TV. Robin aka Dick Grayson seems to be a cop or lawyer who meets a young girl.
SDCC 'Star Trek: Discovery' Panel Drops Season 2 Trailer
New photos came first, but today at Star Trek: Discovery’s panel they dropped the first trailer for season two and some of our suspicions were very correct about the direction the show is going in. This new trailer is even more epic then we could have predicted though, bringing in the show’s cannon at a new level. Watch the trailer here then continue for our thoughts and some of the information fans learned during the panel.
Will Ant-Man, the Wasp, Hank, And Janet Pym Be In ‘Avengers 4’?
As Marvel fans ourselves, we will take any Avengers news we can get. In an interview with Michael Douglas, who plays Hank Pym in the Ant-Man movies, shared some news for the next Avengers film. Well, what we hope is news. We’re sure the cats out of the bag now, about the end credit scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but just in case...this is your spoiler warning. Don’t go any further if you haven’t seen the latest Ant-Man movie yet.
'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' Reboot In The Works
Ok, before we all get too excited, this is a reboot based of Buffy, but will most likely not be more of the show we know. Monica Owusu-Breen (Alias, Lost, Agents of SHIELD) has been hired to create a Buffy reboot, better phrased as a spin off. What makes this news still make us fangirl a little? Joss Whedon, who created Buffy, is going to be apart of this project so the chances of our show getting ruined go way down.
SDCC Drops Season 9 'The Walking Dead' Trailer
Andrew Lincoln will give us his last year as Rick, but the new trailer from SDCC makes it look good. The cast and crew of The Walking Dead have arrived at this year’s SDCC with some good news and some sad news. The good news is we have season 9 to look forward to, premiering on October 7th, but the bad news is Rick won’t be coming back after. Watch the trailer and then we’ll get into the serious stuff.
SDCC Brings Us New 'Bumblebee' Footage
The first trailer for Bumblebee dropped a few weeks back, but SDCC is making the hype even stronger. The movie premieres on December 21st and seems to be vibing a more old school Transformers feel. The biggest change for the Transformers movies coming with Bumblebee is the change in directors. Michael Bay is finished allowing Travis Knight to take over, part of the reason for the vintage feel we’re already getting from what we know so far.
SDCC News About ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Season Two
SDCC is here and with that comes news, news about the fandoms we love. Star Trek: Discovery which aires exclusively on CBS’s online platform is getting ready for season 2 after season 1, which was successful, took some time to bring the fans on board. They’ve released two new images from the show’s second season and, though they’re simply, they tell us a lot about what’s to come.
Why We Love Jessica Simpson
And, why she should come back to the music world. This is a shameless Jessica Simpson appreciation post so if you don’t love her, look away. Jessica Simpson was one of the singers to come along at the time of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera with Mandy Moore as the fourth. Looking at that list, it’s easy to tell who owned the music scene but Jessica’s songs were a big part of our middle school and high school lives.
Fanfiction Highlights: Read This ‘Lucifer’ Story
It’s been awhile since we’ve shared a fanfiction and we’ve decided that needs to be remedied. The title behind these posts may have changed, but the purpose remains the same. We’re sharing a Lucifer story, posted on Archive of our Own, which revolves around Lucifer and an original character. Though, you may still like it even if you ship Lucifer and Chloe. Below is the first chapter of CapsGirl0427’s story titled ‘Dancing with the Devil’. To read the rest, click here.
Britney Spears Has Launched The 'Piece Of Me' Tour And It Is Flawless
Britney Spears recently kicked off her Piece of Me tour after ending her Las Vegas Residency on New Years Eve. She began her journey in DC and fans have already begun posting videos of the Princess of Pop owning the stage. She’s added some songs to her set which include ‘Clumsy’ off her most recent album Glory. Her dance breaks are phenomenal along with her wardrobe and the many times she flashes that big Britney smile.
Netflix Owns Emmy Nominations While 'Modern Family' Is Out For The First Time
The Emmy nominations are out and we are ready to gossip! For the first time in the show’s history Modern Family was not up for best comedy and Netflix beat HBO in total nominations. Let’s get down to the details and make some predictions, which will most definitely be wrong. Also, we won’t comment on every category because there are just too many. Who takes this award? Our instincts are going to go with The Handmaid’s Tale even though this is Game of Thrones goodbye tour.
Our Thoughts On 'The Handmaid's Tale' Season 2
We hit both highs and lows through season two of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale but we're going to break it all down here. Beware for spoilers in this piece because we are going into every episode, not full breakdowns, but glimpses. Elisabeth Moss returns as June/Offred trapped with the Waterfords once again. We are served thirteen episodes where hope is bleak and the cycle remains almost unchanged.
Justin Timberlake Drops Surprise Summer Jam ‘Soulmate’
He just released Man of the Woods back in February, but that didn't stop Justin Timberlake from dropping a surprise summer hit with 'Soulmate'. On July 4th, Timberlake gave us the summer song we’ve been waiting for. We loved some of Man of the Woods, but overall the highly anticipated album only gave us a few good songs. The biggest hit to come from his most recent album was 'Say Something' which featured Chris Stapleton.
Justin Bieber Engaged And Selena Gomez Doesn't Care
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have only been together for a few weeks but Bieber proposed while the pair was on vacation in the Bahamas. The two have known each other since 2009, but this engagement is still sudden. This news comes as a shock but we’d think it’d be even more so for Selena Gomez, his on again off again ex. But a source close to Gomez shared that the singer doesn’t care. Justin still has his Selena Gomez angel tattoo, though which could mean anything.
Some Of Our Favorite Conspiracy Theories From Shane Dawson
Yes, this is a Shane Dawson appreciation post but ever since we’ve been introduced to him we can’t get over his videos. So, we would like to share our favorite conspiracies from Dawson’s videos because everyone should be going down the rabbit hole with us. If you don’t want your entire world shook, close this article down quickly. The Mandela Effect - This insanity was our first taste of Shane Dawson’s Youtube channel and it, literally, broke us.
Bebe Rexha Raises The Bar With ‘Expectations’
Bebe Rexha released her debut album Expectations in late June and it’s a genuine work of art. Rexha has been a familiar voice on the radio for some time now with duets on tracks with artists from G-Eazy to Florida Georgia Line. Her voice has graced every genre music has to offer and she’s one of those rare artists who fits anywhere she wants to be.
Netflix Saves ‘Lucifer’ For Season 4 And What Fans Hope Happens Next
On June 15th, when it was almost too late, Netflix announced their pick up of Fox’s canceled Lucifer. We wrote a story with reasons the show should return and, you can imagine, we were in on the happiness that came with the news.
Florence + The Machine Is Back With Stellar Album ‘High As Hope’
Florence + the Machine is back with their fourth studio album High as Hope, and it is as excellent as everything they’ve done before. Florence Welch, lead singer, continues to impress with her outstanding vocals while the band provides the fuel to her fire. This group always sounds in perfect harmony, thanks to each member: Isabella Summers, Robert Ackroyd, Tom Monger, Loren Humphrey, and Cyrus Bayandor.
The Stakes Are Higher For ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ And It Delivers
Ant-Man and the Wasp, our first film following the shocking events of Avengers: Infinity War, is here and it’s even better then the first Ant-Man. Paul Rudd is back as Scott Lang, the loveable ex-con who is also Ant-Man. The last time we saw him, he was in Germany helping Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War.
‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Brings The Action But Not The Story
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are back again, but this time they’re going to save the dinosaurs or so they think, in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The first movie brought us back to the original with the magic of dinosaurs before the threat comes into play. Jurassic World ended with a full evacuation from the park, like the original, but a much bigger group of people, leaving the dinosaurs behind.
‘Goliath’ Breakdown Review For S2x01-04
Billy Bob Thornton stars as a lawyer, down on his luck, in this Amazon Prime original series Goliath which returned for its second season on June 15. At the end of season one Billy McBride (Thornton) won the big case and things were looking up. We are here to tell you, that did not happen. Billy might have more money then he did at the beginning of last season, but he’s still passed out drunk at the bar next to the motel he lives in, the first time we see him.
‘Goliath’ Breakdown Review For S2x05-08
We’re back for the second half of Goliath’s season 2, and I forgot to mention Gabriel killed Wyatt’s playthings at the end of episode four. Whew, now that we’ve let that out, let’s sum up our review. Last season ended on a high with the victory in the courtroom, with the major death happening early on. For season 2, they waited until the last two episodes to bring the pain. Though, we would like to admit that we called Marisol out as evil from the first moment we saw her.
New Meghan Trainor With The Early Release Of 'All The Ways' Ahead Of New Album
Earlier this week, Meghan Trainor announced a new album Treat Myelf on August 31st, but for now she's gifted us a new song to help pass the time. Trainor's newest track is titled, 'All the Ways'. She dropped the new song with the pre order of her new music on June 20th. The album cover for Treat Myeslef is fantastic with both sparkles and colors to grab our attention and remid us of why we love to listen to her songs, most of them, anyway.
The Carters Drop 'Everything Is Love' And, Of Course, We Are Here For It
Beyonce has made a career with surprise album releases, which are still a shock because no hints arrive prior. This time, she’s bringing her husband Jay-Z along since Everything Is Love dropped over the past weekend while the couple was performing on their current tour, On The Run. The pair didn’t release their new work under either name, but instead as The Carters, which was exclusively on Tidal in the beginning.
Christina Aguilera Is Liberating The Pop Music Genre
Christina has spent the last month building up excitement for her return to the music stage with her sixth studio album Liberation. She began her return with the release of Kanye produced track "Accelerate" which premiered to mixed reviews. We loved it, by the way. She put out a few more songs while also performing on Jimmy Fallon, The Billboard Music Awards with Demi Lovato, and The Today Show.
Backstreets Back With 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' And It's 1999!
If you woke up in the last few days and thought you went back in time when you heard there was a new Backstreet Boys song, don’t worry it is new, 2018 new. The boys dropped ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ last week and we love it, because it’s really good not just because it’s by the Backstreet Boys. We’ve survived five years without new music from this epic boy band while they’ve been touring and taking over Vegas, and it was well worth the wait.
For A Limited Time, Pepsi Released Generation Cans Feat Britney Spears And More
For Summer 2018, PepsiCo has unveiled a new look with their Generations Campaign. There are three different artists featured on Pepsi products who have been in their ads, each speaking to a generation of their own. Those artists are: Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, and Ray Charles. This promotion is not exclusive to cans because they are also available on individual 20 oz bottles, which we found after extensive searching.
Eight Reasons ‘Lucifer’ Needs To Be Saved For A Fourth Season
Fox pulled the plug on fan favorite Lucifer when it announced the cancellations of many other beloved shows. Some, like 'Brooklyn 99', have already been saved, but this gem remains treading water, hoping for a rescue boat before a hungry shark takes it down for good. We’d like to list off some of the, many, reasons Lucifer should be picked back up, not just because we love it. And they aren’t in any particular order because each one is just as important as the next. 1.
JLO Brings The Heat With Cardi B And DJ Khaled In 'Dinero'
Jennifer Lopez may be on TV, jet setting with A Rod, but she’s released new music on top of all that. She released an entire song in Spanish 'El Anillo' at the end of April and is already back with ‘Dinero’ which enlists verses from Cardi B and DJ Khaled. We won’t lie and say we weren’t super hype for this release, as we are for all new JLO songs, but this song is fire. The mix between Spanish and English is flawless as the languages intertwine through the song.
Charlie Puth Brings Hits Some Steps Right With 'Voicenotes'
Charlie Puth released his second studio album Voicenotes on May 11th following the success of Nine Track Mind. Puth’s new music includes two radio bops with ‘Attention’ and ‘How Long’ but the rest of the album falls flat for the most part. Some moments along the track list have the right feel and others showcase an excellent 80s vibe, but overall, it feels like an album fighting between indie pop and top 40 pop, never finding its footing.
