Eric Krautheimer is a Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, partner who has extensive experience representing financial advisers, sellers, and buyers in hostile and negotiated corporate acquisitions, and mergers and acquisitions, including transactions outside of the United States. Eric Krautheimer has represented AT&T (formerly SBC Communications) in a number of high-profile transactions, including the acquisition of BellSouth Corporation. He currently represents AT&T on its prospective acquisition of DIRECTV.
His work with AT&T on a proposed T-Mobile USA acquisition from Deutsche Telekom AG earned him a March, 2011, Dealmaker of the Week distinction from The American Lawyer. Mr. Krautheimer has been selected a New York Super Lawyer on multiple occasions and has been a Southern California Super Lawyer every year since 2009. Currently a Southern California resident, Eric Krautheimer is a longtime New York Giants and Knicks fan who continues to holds season tickets for his favorite teams while nearly 3,000 miles away.
Mr. Krautheimer holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York Binghamton (now Binghamton University).
