Erik Sherman’s Biography

I'm a long-time freelance journalist, most frequently covering business, economics, finance, tech, politics, public policy, and legal/regulatory, but also will sometimes stray to such areas as food and the arts.

I find very few—as in well under 1%—of pitches of any interest and I only respond if something grabs my attention. That can happen later as well as immediately. I do look at all pitches that come in and request that people not follow up, as I get as many as several hundred pitches a day.

Someone also has apparently added to my profile. I do not write for Motorbiscuit nor about cars in general, although there is an Erik Sherman who does, but that is an entirely different person.
