What was your first job as a journalist?

Staff writer for Stuff. I'd been reading it since I was 12 years old, and it was my dream job. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity.

How is social media changing news?

It's diluting real facts with incorrect information, however it also provides instant crowd-sourced coverage of breaking news.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To have the responsibility to research and report facts in an impartial, unbiased manner, to help keep people informed.

What's your favorite social network?

A bar, pub, or friend's house :-)

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

If you're passionate about writing, create a blog and write articles as often as you can, to help build up a portfolio. Also, work experience
