Ethan Heller has built his early career around consistency, discipline, and steady performance under pressure. At Lehigh University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics, majoring in Finance and minoring in Management. He consistently earned Dean’s List honors and graduated with the highest academic honors.
At the same time, Ethan competed as a Division I baseball player, dedicating 20-25 hours/week to practice, games, and leadership development. An injury ended his time as an athlete, but it did not end his connection to the sport. He began working with coaches to help them use performance data to build training strategies. Through that work, he learned how to simplify complex information and make decisions in uncertain situations.
Ethan's first experience in private equity came through multiple internships, where he often worked directly with senior management and portfolio company executives. One early experience involved speaking with over 20 executives across different industries and learning how organizations think about growth, culture, and the future. He saw that financial performance is closely connected to how clearly people communicate ideas and whether they feel they are working toward something meaningful together.
One internship included presenting acquisition analyses directly to a CEO and contributing to product development discussions for a portfolio company. He also completed pricing and industry analysis for a prototype product with multimillion-dollar implications.
After graduation, he began his career at a private equity firm as a Project Specialist. This role focused more on execution and placed him on initiatives with measurable financial benefits across portfolio companies.
One project involved analyzing fuel usage and cost structures for aircraft operations. He developed break-even models to improve flight activity and reduce inefficiencies. He also created an inventory system to support nationwide consolidation, thereby reducing costs and streamlining operations.
Ethan's understanding of operational change was also evident in a cost-reduction program he led, which delivered over $300k in annualized savings and improved cash flow and financial stability. He provided daily liquidity analyses to maintain flexible capital allocation. He also supported several real estate deals across multiple states as part of an asset restructuring, working on financial planning and analysis to guide decisions about what to buy, what to sell, and how to plan for the long term.
In 2025, Ethan joined LUMA Financial Group. Working with clients across different industries, he uses financial modeling, budgeting, and performance tracking to help businesses gain clarity and operate with a clearer view of where they stand. He focuses on the key metrics that truly drive value and understands that many KPIs do not always show the full story of a business. His financial models are built to support decision-making, whether clients are evaluating new investments or improving current operations.
On the entrepreneurial side, he recently founded and became the managing partner of an investment holding company. He plans to build a portfolio that includes both traditional and alternative investments, including real estate, public markets, and emerging markets such as cryptocurrency. He is also active in financial markets, trading Nasdaq-100 futures contracts.
Ethan is also a managing partner in a real estate holding company with residential and commercial properties in several states. These projects show his willingness to take responsibility and apply the disciplined approach he developed early in his career.
A personal foundation of purpose and values guides his life. He leads by example and works to build relationships that benefit everyone involved. He believes success should go beyond self-interest and should be useful to the people around him.
Beyond financial results, he has also invested time in people. He held responsibility within the Company internship program, leading training sessions for younger team members and encouraging both development and accountability.
Ethan has also built connections and personally supported several charitable and humanitarian organizations. He gives time and resources to help people and families in need. He has spoken with donors about international programs for orphaned children and has also helped with food insecurity initiatives.
Ethan Heller is still early in his professional journey, but his pattern is already clear. He takes on responsibility, focuses on what can be measured and built to last, and works with discipline, whether he is doing it for others or for himself.
What makes him stand out is not only one achievement. It is the way each new responsibility shows the same quality more clearly. He knows how to turn effort into meaningful output.
