What was your first job as a journalist?
Editing a radio piece on an orphans' home in Workuta for the BBC German Service.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I am interested in people and what motivates them.

A one hour radio feature on the Friedland refugee camp.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Out and about doing interviews, in the gym, in the woods or on the sofa
