Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes. My parents used to own one that I worked on before we bought our first computer, a Macintosh LCIII.

How is social media changing news?

News is more accessible to the masses, but that accessibility has also caused audiences to question what they read and where it comes from

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Being trusted to share a victim or suspect's story carries a ton of responsibility. One must be balanced, skeptical, inquisitive, personable.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter. It's the easiest and fastest way to share information, though it must be vetted carefully.

Why did you become a journalist?

I've always loved to write and really enjoy learning. This career constantly keeps me on my toes and gives my constant curiosity an outlet.
