The advent of intense single-cycle terahertz (THz) radiation sources has opened new avenues for the exploration of the light–matter interaction with accessible electric fields of the order of MV/cm at photon energies in the meV range. With the emergence of these sources, it is now possible to study the THz-driven ultrafast dynamics of coupled degrees of freedom in condensed matter systems.1–51. C. Ruchert, C. Vicario, and C. P.
