Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I don’t have a favorite yet, but I admire many fictional journalists like Lois Lane for their determination. I hope to develop my own unique voice as I dive deeper into the field of journalism.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, being a journalist means uncovering stories that matter, sharing truth, and connecting people through information and perspectives. While I’m not a journalist yet, I see this as the beginning of my journey. Writing here allows me to explore my passion for storytelling, particularly in sports journalism, and to take my first steps toward making an impact in the field.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
As someone starting out in journalism, I prefer being pitched on stories through clear and concise emails or direct messages. I appreciate pitches that align with my focus on sports journalism, especially European basketball, and include a brief summary of the idea with supporting details. Personalization and relevance are key for me when considering a story.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
As an aspiring sports journalist, I currently write and share my articles about European basketball through platforms like Medium and social media. I use Canva to create visuals and enhance the presentation of my content. For research, I rely on sources such as Google News and EuroLeague’s official website. Additionally, I’m exploring tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Google Analytics to develop multimedia content and better understand audience engagement.
Who do you wish followed you?
I wish EuroLeague players and coaches followed me. Their journey and passion for basketball inspire me, and it would be an honor to share my insights about European basketball with those who make the game so exciting.
Why did you become a journalist?
I’m not a journalist yet, but I aspire to become one, especially in the field of sports journalism. I’ve always been passionate about telling the stories behind the games and highlighting the journeys of athletes. Combining my love for basketball with journalism feels like the perfect way to bring both my interests and skills together, and I’m excited to grow in this field
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I didn’t work for my high school newspaper, but I’ve always been passionate about writing and storytelling. During high school, I developed my interest in journalism by writing personal blogs and analyzing sports events, especially basketball. These experiences motivated me to pursue a career in sports journalism

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
When I’m not at a computer, you’ll most likely find me watching basketball games, analyzing player performances, or reading about sports history. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places, or brainstorming ideas for my next story. Being active and staying curious helps fuel my passion for journalism.

Many people think covering sports is just watching games, but it’s so much more. It’s about understanding the stories behind the players, the strategy on the court, and the culture that shapes the sport
