What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job as a journalist was with the Natchez Democrat. I would record stats and write recaps of college and high school football games.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Absolutely! Typewriters are great to use because there is no need for a printer and saving!
How is social media changing news?
Social media is changing to way we communicate with each other, how the news is interpreted. We no longer have to get the morning paper.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Hmmm, good one-Ron Burgundy or Bruce Nolan those guys will do anything for a good story!
What does it mean to be a journalist?
As a journalist you are that middle man to the street, the ear of reason and the person that makes sense of it all.

Chirbit, Cellphone, DSLR, Lavs/Mics, social networking, microsoft office, a pen, notepad, recorder Photoshop, FCP, Premiere to name a few.
What's your favorite social network?
I do not have a favorite social network. To me, every social networking site has it's own advantages and ways for you to connect with people.
Who do you wish followed you?
To be able to exchange notes with Robin Roberts or Anderson Cooper with make as we followed each other on Twitter and Facebook would be great
Why did you become a journalist?
I have this burning desire to tell everyone everything! I have always wanted to tell stories and love to soak up information.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I take great pride in every story I write because each one of my pieces is unique.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Work hard even if there is no work for you. It is our job as storytellers to get the story to the masses by any means possible.
