Abstract Background: Exercise management is important in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). However, individual variability in exercise-related knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) is significantly associated with behavioral adherence yet is often overlooked in average-based analyses. This study applied Latent profile analysis (LPA) to characterize this heterogeneity and explored associations between the resulting behavioral profiles and clinical indicators.
Abstract Introduction: Glycemic variability (GV) strongly influences prognosis in critically ill patients; however, the optimal GV metric is unclear. This meta-analysis compares the association of various GV measures with clinical outcomes. Methods: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library were searched until June 2025 for studies linking GV metrics with prognosis in critically ill patients.
