Plasma proteome-based AD classification Only individuals in whom the 19-protein biomarker panel and plasma ATN biomarkers were detectable (i.e., above the lower limit of detection; n = 172 and 97 for the discovery and validation cohort, respectively) were included in subsequent analyses. The accuracy of AD classification based on individual plasma proteins was evaluated by calculating areas under the curve (AUCs) using the auc() function from the R pROC package.
