I was regular contributor to Yeni Devir between 1977 and 2984.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. Many years until 1988.
How is social media changing news?
In many ways. It is prompt, analytical and gives opportunity to interact with your readers.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It is a lifestyle and opportunity to convey ideas to people whom I don't know.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I have a Mac, and iPad, I think that is enough to get around.
Who do you wish followed you?
Those who are not biased and open to new ideas.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes, I worked in my school's wall-newspaper, wrote my sightings.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My latest work on the religious group which came out as a book. Later they tried to capture the power in Turkey by inciting a military coup.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I got up very early (about 06.00 Turkish Time), ad do not go to bed before 22.00. In between, all the time.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Having business lunch with my sources.
