Full Closed-Loop Control – Making Stability a Reality in Every Single Cycle
2026-09-15 14:03:29 In injection moulding, stability remains one of the most critical pursuits for any manufacturer. However, real-world production environments are far from ideal. Temperature fluctuations, variations between raw material batches, thermal expansion of the mould, and wear from prolonged machine operation... these factors continuously introduce disturbances, making it difficult to keep parameters like pressure and position within their optimal set window.

Animal Kingdom: Fair Play’s Chloe Domont on post-#MeToo politics and her finance thriller • Journal • A Letterboxd Magazine
There is no institution more ready to be toppled on a cinema screen than a loving relationship. Particularly a loving heterosexual relationship, blossoming in the 21st century in the shadow of #MeToo and with the ever-looming threat of capitalism ready to burn the whole thing down. It might not sound romantic but there’s something undoubtedly seductive about the prospect, which Chloe Domont knows all too well with the games she plays in her debut feature Fair Play.

LNG Exports Surge Above 11 BCF/Day To Set All-Time Highs: Here Is Why They're Here To Stay & What It Means For Natural Gas (NYSEARCA:UNG)
On Friday, liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States surged over 11 BCF/day for the first time, and held above this record level through the weekend near 11.4 BCF/day, up more than 4 BCF/day from last year. Since exports first began at Cheniere Energy’s (LNG’s) facility on the Texas/Louisiana border since early 2016, LNG has been a key source of demand growth in the sector that has helped to counter the surge in production during this same period.
LNG Exports And European Inventories: What Is Going On And What It Means For U.S. Natural Gas Prices
For beleaguered natural gas bulls, 2020 has brought one headwind after another. First, it was an unseasonably mild winter that flipped a long-standing storage deficit to a surplus and sent prices tumbling to 25-year lows. Then, it was COVID-19 which, after a brief period of optimism surrounding production declines, brought temperature-independent losses in industrial and commercial demand that exceeded the drop in supply.
Natural Gas Powerburn: Fuel Switching, Summer Outlook And What It Means For Gas Prices And Energy Stocks
By this point in the typically tranquil Shoulder Season, natural gas investors have undoubtedly developed a serious case of whiplash as multiple bullish and bearish catalysts have led to spectacular spikes and sell-offs in the sector.

Why 3X Leveraged Natural Gas ETFs Are So Dangerous--Besides The Obvious
It is well-known that the 3X natural gas ETFs, UGAZ and DGAZ, are dynamite. Leveraging the most volatile commodity by a factor of three was always going to be explosive. The past year, in particular, has been highlighted by exceptional volatility thanks to early blasts of arctic air both last Fall and this Fall, a large storage surplus and aggressive short-sellers that have primed the sector for a short squeeze.
Just How Imbalanced Is Natural Gas Supply And Demand, And What Does It Mean For Prices?
Since the beginning of 2018, the natural gas storage deficit versus the 5-year average has ballooned from -362 BCF to -557 BCF, a 4-year high. During this same period, however, prices have tumbled from a peak of $3.63/MMBTU on January 29 to just $2.85/MMBTU on August 2, a correction of 22%. And despite storage levels being down a massive 688 BCF year-over-year, natural gas prices are actually down around 1% year-over-year. So what explains this disconnect between price and storage level?
Don't Get Caught In This Bull Trap: Largest April Natural Gas Storage Withdrawals Since 2007 Honey For Amateur Traders And A Set-Up For The Pros
In its weekly Natural Gas Storage Report for March 24-30, the EIA reported that natural gas inventories declined by -20 BCF, after accounting for a non-flow-related reduction in stocks in the South Central Region. This is the "implied flow" number released by the EIA, and the number that I will be quoting. The net change from last week was -29 BCF.
Natural Gas To Face Continued Headwinds Despite The Near-Term Return Of Bullish Storage Withdrawals
Natural gas continued its very tranquil trading pattern last week, rising 1.4% on the week to settle at $2.73/MMBTU. After peaking at over $3.63/MMBTU during the record cold first week of 2018, natural gas then crashed spectacularly, falling more than a dollar in just 2 weeks to as low as $2.55/MMBTU by early February. Since then, however, the commodity has been tightly rangebound, between $2.55/MMBTU and $2.75/MMBTU over the past month, as shown in Figure 1 below.
Natural Gas Storage Projection For September 23-29: Record Setting Fall Heat Wave To Drive 2nd Straight Bullish Storage Injection, Establish Price Floor | Seeking Alpha
In its weekly Natural Gas Storage Report for September 16-22, the EIA announced on Thursday morning that natural gas inventories increased by +58 BCF. This was 3 BCF smaller than my +61 BCF projection and an exceptional 26 BCF bullish versus the 5-year average +74 BCF, breaking a streak of three straight bearish storage injections with style. And not only was the injection bullish, it came well below the +66 BCF analyst consensus.
Natural Gas Storage Projection For Sept. 16-22: Bullish Storage Injection Expected As Late-Summer Heatwave Boosts Demand
In its weekly Natural Gas Storage Report for the week of September 9-15, the EIA announced Thursday morning that inventories grew by +97 BCF. This was much larger than my projected +86 BCF build and was 24 BCF bearish versus the 5-year average. It was the third straight bearish weekly build and boosted the natural gas storage surplus versus the 5-year average from a negligible +8 BCF on August 25 to +67 BCF as of September 15.
Why Exports Could Be The Next Catalyst That Drives Oil To $60/Barrel
In its weekly Petroleum Status Report for the week of September 9-15, the EIA announced Wednesday morning that crude oil inventories rose for a third straight week, climbing by +4.6 MMbbls to 472.8 MMbbls, the highest storage level since August 4. Not only was the injection bearish versus the 5-year average -0.7 MMbbl draw, it came in well above Tuesday's American Petroleum Institute forecast of a +1.4 MMbbl build.
Playing With Fire: How Long Can You Safely Hold A 3X Leveraged ETF?
On November 5, 2008--the height of the financial crisis--Direxion introduced the first 3x leveraged ETFs, revolutionizing investing and garnering a fair share of criticism in the process. While ETFs date all the way back to SPY in 1993 followed by 2x and inverse ETFs in 2006, it was the arrival of the triple-leveraged product that truly brought the ETF market to the forefront. These products were the ultimate hot potato.
Natural Gas Storage Projection For September 9-15: Third Consecutive Bearish Injection Expected But Bullish Mid-Week Inflection Sets The Stage For The Rest Of September | Seeking Alpha
In its weekly Natural Gas Storage Report for September 2-8, the EIA announced Thursday morning that inventories rose by +91 BCF. This was 4 BCF larger than my +87 BCF projection and a whopping 28 BCF bearish versus the 5-year average +63 BCF. It was the largest injection since June 2 and boosted the storage surplus versus the 5-year average back up to +43 BCF after falling as low as +8 BCF two weeks ago.
Natural Gas Storage Projection For September 2-8: Second Consecutive Bearish Inventory Build Likely As Rover Pipeline Begins Service & LNG Exports Fall | Seeking Alpha
In its weekly Natural Gas Storage Report for August 26-September 1, the EIA announced on Thursday morning that natural gas inventories rose by +65 BCF. The injection was 1 BCF smaller than my own +66 BCF projection, but still 7 BCF bearish versus the 5-year average of +58 BCF. It was the first bearish injection since August 11 and only the second in the last nine weeks.
Natural Gas Storage Projection For August 25-September 1: Hurricane Harvey And Cooler Temperatures To Drive Largest Storage Injection In 8 Weeks
In its weekly natural gas storage report for August 25-September 1, the EIA announced Thursday morning that natural gas inventories climbed by +30 BCF. This was 1 BCF smaller than my +31 BCF projection, an exceptional 36 BCF bullish versus the 5-year average +66 BCF and the single smallest injection for the August 25-September 1 period in the last 23 years.
The Calm Before The Storm: Oil Undervaluation Climbs After Storage Surplus Slides To A 30-Month Low As Hurricane Harvey Looms Large
Hurricane Harvey may be (finally) dissipating over the lower Ohio Valley this morning, but its numerical impact on the oil markets will not be realized until next week. Nonetheless, oil fell by 48 cents or 1% to $45.96/barrel as investors remain concerned about a supply glut amidst refinery shutdowns even as the EIA announced Wednesday morning that crude oil inventories fell for a ninth straight week and for the nineteenth time in the last twenty one weeks.
The Times They Are A Changin': Revived Harvey Presents Complex Threat To Gulf Of Mexico Natural Gas Infrastructure
Tropical Storm Harvey--left for dead over the weekend--returned to life on Monday and now poses a significant threat to the United States. The storm was first named on August 17 when it was due east of the Lesser Antilles and subsequently brought gusty winds and heavy rain to the Barbados, Grenada and St Vincent & the Grenadines last Friday.
EIA Reports Record Weekly Inventory Drawdown, But Oil Falls As Tug-Of-War Continues--Who Is Right?
In its weekly Petroleum Status Report, the EIA announced Wednesday morning that crude oil inventories fell by -8.9 MMbbls during the week of August 5-11. This was slightly less than Tuesday's API forecast of a -9.1 MMbbl draw, but much larger than the 5-year average -1.8 MMbbl draw.
Natural Gas Surges To 3-Week High After Bullish Storage Injection - But Can The Rally Continue?
Natural gas climbed for a fourth straight day on Thursday, surging 10 cents or 3.5% to settle at $2.99/MMBTU after the EIA reported a much smaller-than-expected--but somewhat suspicious--+28 BCF storage injection for the week of July 29-August 4. It was the first time that the commodity has had a 4-day winning streak since June 28 and it was the highest settlement price since July 28. Since closing at $2.77/MMBTU last Friday, August 4, natural gas is up a whopping +7.8% during this four day span.
Natural Gas Undervalued At 5-Month Low After Bullish EIA Storage Report
The EIA announced that natural gas inventories rose by +20 BCF for the week of July 22-28 in its weekly natural gas storage report issued Thursday morning. The injection was 2 BCF larger than my +22 BCF projection and a bullish 24 BCF smaller than the 5-year average.
LNG Exports Rise To All-Time High: Here Is Why It Is So Bullish For Natural Gas
Since LNG exports first began in March of 2016, feedgas deliveries to Cheniere Energy's (LNG) Sabine Pass Liquefaction Plant on the Texas/Louisiana border have been an important and ever-increasing source of temperature-independent demand.
Crude Oil Falls For The Sixth Week In Seven As Domestic Production Rebounds, But Oil Continues To Represent An Intriguing Long-Term Buy
Crude oil slumped on Friday, falling $1.29 or 2.8% to settle at $44.23/barrel and finishing the week with a 3.9% loss. It was the sixth loss in the last seven weeks and the commodity now sits at its lowest level since June 26. The driving force for the decline continues to be investor preoccupation with rising domestic production and fear that OPEC's production cuts will be insufficient to counter the former.
Natural Gas Falls On Fears Of Mid-July Cooldown And Is Now Over-Extended To The Downside As Temperatures Warm With Smallest Storage Injection Of The Summer Expected This Week | Seeking Alpha
Natural gas fell 2 cents or 0.8% on Friday to settle at $2.86/MMBTU after the EIA announced a +72 BCF natural gas storage injection for the week of June 24-30. The inventory build was bearish versus the 5-year average +66 BCF injection and above most analyst expectations which were calling for an injection in the +62 BCF to +68 BCF range. The commodity was down an ugly 5.6% for the week and is trading just above the recent four-month low of $2.84/MMBTU set on Wednesday.

LNG Exports Recover From Scare Ahead Of Increased Role In Natural Gas Supply/Demand Balance This Spring And Summer
Since Cheniere Energy's (NYSEMKT:LNG) Sabine Pass LNG Liquefaction Plant came online in late March 2016, it has been an important source of temperature-independent natural gas demand. It has played a crucial role in helping reduce last spring's record-setting season-ending surplus and has prevented the record warm start to 2017 from driving the storage surplus back towards those spring 2016 levels.
Natural Gas Demand Surges With Record Late Season Arctic Blast - But Is It Enough?
Last week, the popular United States Natural Gas Fund ETF UNG climbed 4 of 5 days surging 7.4% on the week. The ETF's close at $7.35/share was the highest close since February 15. This rally is shown in Figure 1 below. Figure 1: Natural gas ETF UNG performance for 2017 to-date showing a sharp rebound over the past two weeks. [Source: Yahoo Finance] The VelocityShares 3x leveraged ETF UGAZ climbed from $15.97/share to $19.42/share, a weekly gain of 21.6% for the boom-or-bust product.
Natural Gas Week Ahead: Demand To Plummet, Further Near-Term Weakness Likely To Set Up Buying Opportunity
Bitterly cold temperatures dominated the nation over the weekend, bringing nearly a foot of snow and record lows to much of the Southeast. Below zero readings were commonplace across the northern Plains from the Dakotas through Minneapolis to the suburbs of Chicago. On Sunday morning, the nationwide population-weighted temperature dropped as low as 21F, an enormous 13F colder than average. 49 out of 50 states had at least some snow cover, with only Florida missing out.
Force majeure on Bonny, Forcados crude oil terminals slashes Nigeria Sep revenues: ministry
Declining oil production and export volumes due to militancy and large-scale crude theft cut the Nigerian government’s gross revenue in September by about 12% from August to Naira 279.75 billion ($8 billion), the finance ministry said Friday. The ministry said that despite the rally in global oil prices averaging $48.43/b in June, Nigeria’s export volume declined by 1.15 million barrels in that month, resulting in a $46.52 million drop in oil export sales for the government.
Natural Gas Positioned For Further Gains Following Second Lowest Storage Injection In 22 Years
In its weekly Natural Gas Storage Report, the EIA announced yesterday that 52 BCF was injected into storage during the week of September 10-16. It was the second smallest weekly injection for the third week of September since the EIA started reporting numbers in 1993, only 1 BCF larger than 2008's record +51 BCF build that was impacted by natural gas outages in the Gulf of Mexico from Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. Overall, the injection was 31 BCF less than the 5-year average.
How Wind Generation Will Lead To Increased Price Volatility In Natural Gas
On Thursday, the EIA reported that +62 BCF of natural gas was injected into storage for the week of September 3-9. While this injection was 7 BCF less than the 5-year average, it was the largest weekly injection since July 8 and the smallest departure from average since April 29, during a summer in which weekly departures from the 5-year average approached 60 BCF.
Natural Gas Is Undervalued, But Don't Try To Capitalize By Going Long ETFs
Natural gas fundamentals have improved dramatically this summer. On April 1, natural gas inventories started off the spring shoulder season by climbing to 2480 BCF. On that day, the storage surplus versus the 5-year average increased to +873 BCF or +35%, second all-time only to 2012's record +934 BCF surplus. In the week's leading up to the peak surplus, natural gas plumbed decade-lows, dropping as low as $1.60/MMBTU as supply overwhelmed demand.
Calculating The Impact Of LNG Exports On The Price Of Natural Gas
The natural gas industry underwent yet another evolution this spring with the onset of liquefied natural gas ((NYSEMKT:LNG)) exports from Cheniere Energy's (LNG) Sabine Pass terminal. Originally conceived as an LNG import terminal in the late 2000s prior to the surge in domestic production and collapse in prices due to the Fracking Boom that made imports uneconomical, the Sabine Pass facility was converted to the first US export terminal over 7 years.
Natural Gas: Warmer Temps, Record Storage Should Keep Smart Investors On The Sidelines
On Thursday, the EIA reported that natural gas storage declined just -117 BCF for the week of Feb. 13-19, a surprisingly bearish report that fell well short of projections by all major analysts following the commodity some of which were as high as -162 BCF, including my own -145 BCF forecast. Natural gas finished the week down 4.1% to close at just $1.79/MMBTU. For all the talk about crash in oil prices, the meltdown in the natural gas sector has been just as impressive.
