What does it mean to be a journalist?
I think the definition of journalist is changing in our media saturated world.
What's your favorite social network?
For better or worse, I'm obsessed with Twitter.
Why did you become a journalist?
I grew up in the newspaper business and I've been writing since I was 13. Was there another choice?
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
While in high school, I was working for the local daily paper reporting on human interest items like the adopt-a-pet of the week.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I welcome email pitches any time. As a new mom and head of a publishing company, i rarely have time for phone pitches.
