Hamas planned this event to be SOOOO tragic and horrendous that it would trigger a larger conflict and crises... Hamas has no problem getting 90% wiped out and losing a million civilians IF the world turns on Israel for the retaliation. They want chaos globally... they want a return to the 2000's and early 2010's where we saw random terror acts around the world.

Tue Oct 3, 2023, 08:49 AM I would tell McCarthy the Dems are voting to remove him unless he delivers on Ukraine aid, some sort of power sharing arrangement and whatever the Dems decide to demand in return for their votes. But I would not just take his word for it. I would tell him Dems will vote to table the motion(s) to vacate until he delivers on those promises with votes on the House floor. Then the Dems, once he does deliver, will vote with him to save his speakership.

We were in Tbilisi - capital of the country - and took a cable car like this to the top of the city, there was quite a view! There were a lot of people up there and I got nervous watching two women who had a toddler they were letting walk on the wall that ran along the edge of the platform.
