Sam Hall and I analysed government data on fires and their causes. We noticed that fires caused by air fryers were not being recorded accurately. We approached the Home Office for comment and asked them if they will rectify the issue. They are now conducting a data review so that recording system can better reflect emerging technology such as air fryers.
